Project Overview

What is my project about-

I'm going to be researching different artists to look at their photos and determine how their culture and personality play an effect in their photos. After doing my research (one artist at a time) I will be trying out their techniques and see which artist and style of photography resonates with me. What I'm mostly excited about is not only the experience of imagery taking but as well the process of finding my style of photography and which artist I’m able to connect with photography wise.

A couple learning goals I will be wanting to achieve is-

1) Mimicking the Artist- Researching famous artists and “mimic” their images they took. All the artists photos have to be a different style/technique of photography.

2) Timeline Photographs- Learning how different timing of the day effects photos are either good, great, or not so pleasant to the eye.

3) Second Nature- Maneuver camera like second nature + creating a business like website.

Through this process I will be discovering "How are artists able to intertwine their personality and culture into photography?"
